The NBL season is starting to heat up and take on some signifcance. With only 5 rounds to go and with only the top four teams advancing to the NBL Finals this year. Perth, Gold Coast and Townsville look clear favourites to progress to the NBL playoffs, but the 4th spot is wide open.

All the ramining teams can still make the playoffs in the closets season in the history of the nbl, You would have said that the Wollongong Hawks would be the team to claim the 4th spot, but after losing their star import they have looked shaky.
